Dairy-free living is good. I love me some chocolate and that is probably what I miss the most about being Dairy Free. But Dairy free living does not always mean no chocolate–just more cooking and planning. I found this recipe on a Domino Sugar bag and thought–that is easily adaptable and sounds yummy. For those who have not had rice milk or dairy free butter–neither of those changes to this recipe make any taste changes. A milk allergy is actually a milk protein allergy and milk proteins are what make chocolate hard. In this recipe, it calls for syrup and cocoa and both are yummily milk/milk protein free.
